i choose a certain reality... it's quiet here.

We look at animals—eat, sleep, exist, die—and pity them for having no “purpose.” So we built a “higher” existence.

But we haven’t evolved. We just complicated the cage. We traded the old script (Work, Breed, Die) for a chaotic new one: Get offended. Curate a bio. Chase an identity. Protest for the aesthetic. Scream into the void.

We think this is freedom. We think we’re different from the generations before us because we talk about “self-expression.”

But look closer. The one who claims to be free is shackled by the performance of freedom.

Someone will say: “But isn’t Art, Science, and Music a distraction too? Isn’t a film just a lie?”

Yes. In the biological sense, everything that isn’t hunting or sleeping is a distraction. We are all just killing time.

But there is a fundamental difference in the quality of the distraction.

Society is a Mask. It is performative. It demands you pretend to be something you aren’t. It is based on rules made up by insecure people. It drains you because it requires you to lie to fit in.

Art is a Mirror. Music is not a “social construct.” It is frequency. It is Math. It is Physics.

When a chord strikes a nerve, that is biology responding to the laws of the Universe. Science is the pursuit of what is actually there, not what we feel should be there.

Society is a distraction that makes you forget who you are. Art and Nature are distractions that remind you what you are.

Society asks you to argue with ghosts. The Universe asks you to observe reality.

If we have to pick a poison to get through this existence, pick the one that vibrates with the truth. Leave the noise to the ones who are afraid of the silence.

After hours.
